Candela GentleMax Pro Plus®

For over 20 years, Gentle Pro Series devices have been the industry leading laser hair removal systems, trusted by dermatologists and aestheticians around the globe to successfully treat patients of all skin types.

What can I expect during laser hair removal treatment?

Personal consultations will be done prior to treatment to allow the correct personal settings for results.

Treatments take place in a safe and private room in our salon, where hygiene practices will be carried out. Your therapist will use a small handpiece to deliver an intense burst of energy onto targeted areas of the skin. Your therapist and yourself will be wearing protective glasses during treatments.

Is Gentle laser hair removal painful?

Some clients may feel slight discomfort, which has been compared to snapping a rubber band against the skin. This discomfort resolves quickly and is minimized by our patented Zimmer Air Cooling Device. Be sure and talk this over with your therapist. If you are experiencing discomfort, your therapist will provide you with a ice pack.

Can Gentle Hair Removal be done on darker skin tones?

Yes! Many laser hair removal treatments don’t cater to all skin types, but there’s a Gentle Hair Removal treatment that’s right for you, no matter your skin tone.

How long does a Gentle laser hair removal treatment take?

A treatment can take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour, depending on the treatment area and the condition being treated. Both legs can often be treated in as few as 15 minutes after a couple of session as hair lessens.

How many treatments will I need?

Multiple treatments are required to achieve the full hair removal effect. The hairs on your body are not always at the same stage, so you’ll need to undergo a few treatments, an average of six to eight weeks apart, to catch them all in the growth stage. We say any where from 4-6 depending on body influences and area being treated.
